A Catalyst for Lansing's Creative Community

For over four decades, the Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art (MICA) has been a catalyst for community transformation through quality arts programming. From award-winning music festivals like JazzFest Michigan and Michigan BluesFest, to curated visual art exhibitions and local artist showcases, MICA brings the best of Lansing’s arts to life.

Monthly Musicians’ Jam Circle

The Monthly Musicians’ Jam Circle meets at MICA in Old Town Lansing one Sunday a month, from 3-5 pm.

Musicians of all levels are invited to join, and there is no charge for your participation. This group was initially created for young musicians to share and create music with their peers in a safe environment. It is now open to any and all musicians in the Lansing area, who are looking for an unplugged fully acoustic jam session.

Come join us, meet other local musicians, and share your love of music with like minded people in our community!
